Press release for Montana

For Immediate Press Release Monday August 27h, 2007

The International Natural Therapies Association President and Naturopath, Brandon Raynor, as well as other members of INTA are holding a public demonstration of Raynor Massage on the steps of the state Capitol building. This will be on Tuesday August 28th from 11am to 5:30 pm

We are calling on our legislators to reject attempts to regulate the massage industry in Montana, or if they do to adopt laws based on Minnesota’s legislation that has Freedom of Access laws that allow anyone to access the alternative health practitioner of their choice regardless of the number of hours or type of training they have had.

There is no reason to regulate an art form that has been practiced in a huge variety of cultures throughout the world since the dawn of humanity.

Every type of massage in every culture has a different training method and there is no reason for the government to get involved in this just to satisfy some massage schools that want to monopolize the industry.

Brandon Raynor is an Australian trained Naturopathic Practitioner whose school (Brandon Raynor’s School of Natural Therapies) offers massage courses in 20 locations in 11 different countries. He holds Diplomas in Naturopathic Medicine, Therapeutic Massage, Shiatsu, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine from India. He is currently based in Hawaii.

He is currently setting up a school in Belgrade, Montana to teach his methods in the United States.

For more information about the school see www.brandonraynor.com and to follow along with us on our North American campaign for health freedom see www.thefreedomride.org

Brandon will be available for comment and interviews today through the telephone and email listed below and onsite at the steps of the capitol building tomorrow.
