Well this last week has been eventful....
I had a fever for several day which was interesting and very introspective. Terry has hurt his ankle but is doing well again.
We have got to explore Portland, We went to the Childrens Museum, which Jai loved, the Forest Museum, and then we went to the Japanese Gardens which were very contemplative and a high recomendtion to see. Opposite that is the Rose Gardens, which have huge variety of roses, some that look amazing and some that have an amazing scent.
We found an amazing restaurant called that Bay Leaf, an Asian Vegetaraian restaurant which left with our highest rcomendations. http://www.bayleafvegetarian.com/
We had a great evening catching up with some old friends of my mother's. The artist George Johannsen and his wife Phyllis and their son Aaron and his wife Van. It was a great evening of laughs and talks. George showed us his art studio and some magic tricks and I got George on the floor and gave him an hour massage which he seemed to glow from after.
Now we are in Salem, Orgeon. We went to a Mexican restaurant last night which was OK. Other than that it has been hard to find good food here.
We have our protest scheduled for tomorrow.
